It’s a really interesting use case. I have used a lot of different ways to work visually with AI and code, especially UI design systems. You name it, I have tried it.
Because how great is it to describe any idea, for any platform, and have it rendered and understood as pixel-perfect—both programmatically and in plain English—by any current AI creative tool you are using? It’s amazing to be able to consistently and quickly conjure whatever aesthetic visual experience you’re thinking about, including UI.
CLI UI design systems are interesting for many reasons, but a major one is the specificity understood by LLMs. It makes it possible to think visually and in code at the same time, which is incredibly useful. The more specific and controllable, the better.
